On Wednesday 08/02/2017 at approximately 4pm Pct. 1 Deputies while performing traffic enforcement on FM 830 near Seven Coves area, viewed a dark colored SUV travelling eastbound at a high rate of speed. The SUV’s speed was checked with radar and registered to be 107 mph. Deputies, after activating their emergency equipment, attempted to stop the SUV which continued eastbound on FM 830 failing to yield. After a brief pursuit the SUV wound up being driven to the Lakeway Townhomes in the City Panorama Village. A white female was viewed exiting the SUV and ran into one of the Townhomes where she lived with her mother. The driver of the SUV was identified as a 14 year old juvenile female, was placed into custody and charged with felony evading. The mother of the juvenile who was identified as Joyce M Ethridge, was written a citation for allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a motor vehicle on a public roadway.
