The Precinct 4 Constable’s Tac Team arrested three people Sunday evening on felony drug charges at a New Caney residence. Following an extensive investigation, deputies executed a search warrant around 10 p.m. at the residence located at 20266 Red Bud Lane. The occupants ignored the deputies at the front door, who then made forced entry and found three residents inside the brick home, two white males and a white female.
On the hallway floor beside the female, in the area where all three suspects stood when deputies made entry, deputies found a small plastic bag containing .5 grams of methamphetamine. In the same general vicinity was another plastic bag containing a bundle of smaller plastic bags identical to the one containing 39 grams of meth.
Tammie Renee Applegate, 42, Charles Clinton Fulcher, 38, and 43-year-old Jerret Milton Applegate, all of whom are New Caney residents, are charged with state jail felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Inside deputies also found a stolen fire hydrant and a small amount of marijuana along with almost $3000 in cash.
Additional arrests in this case are expected.
As Deputies as deputies executed the search warrant a vehicle pulled up in front. After identifying the driver as 44-year-old Billy Anderson of Splendora, he was taken into custody for Driving while license Invalid.
Fulcher who was also arrested Friday night by Roman Forest Police for open warrants, has an extensive criminal history and is well-known by law enforcement.
