Just after midnight Thursday, Wells Fargo Security notified Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office of an alarm on the ATM at the Wells Fargo Bank on Woodlands Parkway at Kuykendahl. Additional details notified deputies that cameras had two males in a black Honda drilling out the lock on the ATM machine in the drive-thru. Several deputies were responding. One female deputy who was en route spotted a black vehicle leaving another Wells Fargo near the intersection of Research Forest and Kuykendahl. She turned around on the vehicle and stopped it just north of the intersection of Research and Kuykendahl. A black male identified as Terry Jerome Daniel of Spring and the black male juvenile from Houston were detained. With units on the scene at the bank other units spread out searching for the tools used. That search quickly ended after a portable drill was spotted under the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Deputies learned they had drilled the lock but were unable to make entry to the ATM. The adult male was transported to the Montgomery County Jail on theft less than $300,000 ATM.
