Michael Brian Crawley, age 30 of Spring has been arrested and placed in the Harris County Jail on two counts of Online Solicitation of a Minor. He has a total of one-half-million dollars in bonds. He was arrested Friday night in Harris County and makes his first court appearance Monday morning in the 182nd District Court in Harris County.
He also is being held on a warrant from New Mexico with a $10,000 bond.
According to Harris County Officials Crawley had been communicating on-line with undercover officers in New Mexico since August. He had been chatting with an undercover officer who was pretending to be a 14-year-old girl. During these conversations he did expose himself multiple times with a web-cam.
Crawley is a seventh grade teacher at Conroe ISD Peet Junior High School. He is Special Ed, Resource and Science Co-Teacher, Math Co-Teacher and the Photo Club Sponsor. His wife of just over a year is a teacher in Klien ISD.
This is the second teacher in just over a week with CISD who has been arrested for Online Solicitation of a Minor. On September 2nd Vickers was arrested by Harris County Precinct 4 Constables with the assistance of CISD Police at the Moorhead Campus in Grangerland. He was placed in the Harris County Jail on $150000 bond.
