ANOTHER DRIVER CRASHES ON GULF COAST ROAD

Caney Creek Firefighters and MCHD Medics were pulled out of bed just after 3 am Friday morning after reports of a major accident on Gulf Coast Road between Southern Pine and FM 3083. The driver apparently did not see the 35 mile per hour speed limit sign when he came around the curve and flipped his Nissan Pathfinder.

When units arrived they found the vehicle to be empty and engine cold. A search was conducted of the wooded area around the vehicle on both sides of the road with a thermal imager but nothing was found.
