A fire broke out early Friday morning at The Timbers of Pine Hollow Apartments at 2020 Plantation Drive.
At 7:41 a.m., the first call came in and fire equipment was dispatched. When the first Conroe Fire Department units arrived, heavy fire was visible from the roof of the building. A second alarm was dispatched bringing in River Plantation, North Montgomery, Lake Conroe and The Woodlands Fire Departments.
Firefighters quickly got ahead of the fire, pulled the ceiling in the upstairs apartment next to it, and shut it down.
There was heavy fire damage to two units and heavy smoke and water damage to several more.
There were no injuries and the American Red Cross was requested to respond to the scene to assist those displaced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Conroe Fire Marshal’s Office.
