Just after 8:45 PM on Tuesday, 12 December 2016, Shenandoah Police Officers responded to a robbery at the Subway restaurant, located at 19189 IH-45 in Shenandoah, Texas. Details provided to the officers were that three black males came into the restaurant with handguns and demanded that the male employee working the register give them money from the safe. The employee did not have access to the safe, so the suspects took the entire cash drawer from the register. After stealing an undisclosed amount of money from the register, all of the suspects ran from the location and were seen getting into what is believed to be a late 1990’s or early 2000’s model white Pontiac four door passenger car. The vehicle was missing the front emblem that identified the manufacturer of the car. The employee was the only person inside the restaurant at the time and was unharmed during the robbery. All three suspects were described as black males in their late teens to early 20’s. One suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black tennis shoes. A second suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with a sleeveless black jacket, black pants and black and white Converse tennis shoes. The third suspect was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with white drawstrings, red shorts and tennis shoes.
