A routine traffic stop resulted in the removal of a large quantity of narcotics for the Men In Black Thursday evening.
Around 9:30 p.m. Deputy J. Chapa stopped a red Nissan, northbound on US 59, for moving violations. Several suspicious factors led to the deployment of narcotics detection K-9 Porter, who gave a positive odor response. A search of the vehicle revealed multiple plastic bags containing Hydrocodone and Xanax. All totaled, the suspect had nearly 2,000 pills in her vehicle. A weight of almost two pounds.
Carolyn Ann Blake, 43, of Dallas is charged with first-degree felony Aggravated Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Hydrocodone) and second-degree felony Possession of a Controlled Substance Intent to Deliver (Xanax).
Blake has a previous conviction for Manufacture/Delivery/Possession of a Controlled Substance in Montgomery County and is currently on probation in Montgomery County.
As of this writing, Blake remains held without bond in the Montgomery County Jail.
