Last Sunday Dustin Rutherford was trying out his new brush cutter for his skid-steer tractor. His mothers old bail bonding office across the street from the Montgomery County Jail had a large amount of brush grown up from over the years behind it was the best place to put it to the test.
Tuesday morning he returned to view his work and plan on the next stage of cutting. As he approached a small rock pile just on the edge of what he had been cutting he spotted the skeletal remains of a person.
Conroe Police Department responded t the scene and requested the assistance of Dr. Veasey, the Montgomery County Forensic Pathologist who offices across the street also. It could not be determined if it was a male or female or how long it had been at the location. It was also unclear what the cause of death was.
The body was taken to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy and further examination.
