Around 9:30 p.m., a 39-year-old man was killed when two boats collided off North Diamondhead on Lake Conroe.
According to the Pct. 1 Constable’s Office, one of the boats was occupied an adult female who was transported in critical condition, a 12-year-old boy who was transported in stable condition, and the man who died. The second boat, a bass boat, was occupied by two men who were uninjured. The men were headed for a weigh-in when the two boats collided.
None of the identities have been released as of this posting. MCPR is on-scene and will update with additional information and the victims’ identities when they become available.
