…and he’s still talking!

2:40 p.m.

Just after 2 p.m. Saturday, as an intense thunderstorm moved through Montgomery County, a Grangerland area man was struck by lightning outside of his home. Medics responded to a reported “electrocution” to find the man’s foot was struck by lightning but he was still alive.

As of this writing, medics are transporting the victim to Conroe Regional Medical Center. One of the responding firefighters, who was in disbelief that the victim survived and was talking, told the victim he should be a lottery ticket because he was extremely lucky.

MCPR was on-scene and will update with more info as soon as possible….
