Thursday night was a busy night for Constable Hayden’s Deputies in East Montgomery County. The night started with a large bust of almost 300 grams of cocaine. As that was going on another deputy stopped Mark Myers Jr., 38, of New Caney at FM 1314 and Loop 494 in Porter. He was arrested after deputies found 51 grams on meth in his possession. Myers was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on charges of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance 4 grams to 200 grams and tampering with evidence.
Within minutes of that stop another Precinct 4 deputy stopped another vehicle on a traffic violation at I-69 and Community. Austin Jackson Campbell, 26 of Conroe was arrested with 15 grams of meth. His brother Keaton Campbell was arrested for an open possession of controlled substance warrant.
All this was being done as two other deputies were in the process of booking drivers who were intoxicated and other deputies still in search of a wanted fugitive, Paul Wayne Mills Jr., 47 of Conroe. Mills ran from deputies on a traffic stop several nights ago and has several open felony warrants.
