CANDI TAKEN TO JAIL IN CUFFS

A Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputy Constable took Candi to the jail Halloween night… along with her friend.

Just before 8 p.m., Precinct 4 Deputies were on patrol in the Forest Colony Subdivision, off of US 59 in Porter when residents flagged down a deputy and said a man and woman were smoking marijuana in a vehicle parked alongside the road where children were trick-or-treating. By the time the deputy reached the vehicle, Christopher Stark and Candi Wright had stepped out of it and were standing in the middle of the road. When the deputy approached the pair and told them what was reported, Wright began to cry and admitted the report was correct. Wright was wearing a referee costume, but she did not cry foul when she was detained.

Wright had a plastic sandwich bag containing marijuana in her purse. She also had Hydrocodone pills in a pill bottle in the glove box. Stark had a marijuana cigarette on his person.

Both were taken into custody and the vehicle was towed. The deputy released Stark to the custody of the East Montgomery County Jail and took Candi to female booking at the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

Candice Rene “Candi” Wright, 30, of New Caney is charged with class B misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana; and class A misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Christopher Allen Stark, 39, of New Caney is charged with class B misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana.
