Just after 4 a.m. a bus fire was reported by a Montgomery County Deputy filling with fuel at the fuel pumps adjacent to Caney Creek High School. When Caney Creek Firefighters arrived the bus was heavily involved. The school which is part of Conroe ISD is located at FM 2090 and FM 1485 in Grangerland.
CISD Police also responded to the scene as one of the storage building housing equipment and a golf cart appeared to have been slammed into with a vehicle , knocking the wall off the concrete base. It was not determined if anything was taken but is appeared ransacked.
The Montgomery County Fire Marshal has been notified and will investigate.
