Witnesses told Cleveland an 83-year-old man and his 79-year-old wife pulled up to the front of the East Texas Eye Center. As he attempted to park in front of the building he hit the gas instead of the brake causing the vehicle to strike the outside wall pushing it into the waiting room of the clinic. She was transported by Life Flight to Hermann Hospital in Houston in critical condition with a head injury.
