CLEVELAND ISD POLICE RECEIVE $52,000 GRANT FROM 100 CLUB OF HOUSTON

The 100 Club of Houston generously awarded the Cleveland ISD Police Department with a $52,000 grant. The money will be used to purchase safety and radio equipment for the CISD officers. Chief Rex Evans applied for the funding to replace outdated body armor as well as Dual-Band Motorola radios that will be used for inter-agency communication.

Chief Evans said, “The 100 Club is an outstanding organization and without them, this very important equipment could not have been obtained. Cleveland ISD and its police officers will reap the benefits for many years to come.”
