VogelCassieOn Thursday, 09/15/11, at approximately 8:30 am, the Conroe Police Narcotics Unit arrested a man and seized 8.8 kilograms of cocaine. The drugs have an estimated street value of 1.3 million dollars.

Narcotics Officers were conducting a drug investigation in the 1000 block of S. Frazier St. when the department narcotics K-9, “Cassie”, alerted her handler, Officer Clyde Vogel, to a bag which contained the cocaine. Investigation subsequently led officers to the bag’s owner, Morris Alexander Wise, a 31 year old black male from Chicago, Illinois. Morris was arrested and charged with Aggravated Possession of a Controlled Substance, a 1st degree felony charge. He is currently held in the Montgomery County Jail on $200,000.00 bond.

    GREAT JOB, GOOD GOING! THANKS for your work and support and specifically THANK YOU FOR TAKING BOTH HIM AND THE DRUGS OFF THE STREET WITHOUT A LONG WAIT FOR ‘SURVEILLANCE’. Yes we want the big dealers out of business too, but the little ones will get the message if we get them off the streets fast enough, consistent enough and long enough. Others won’t be so willing to distribute.

    8.8 keys… worth about 14000-16000 each, average profit of 3x investment… 492,800-563,200… as usual another gross exaggeration by the police… im not sure where they get there prices or figures but they are always way way wrong, … good job on the bust, but damn the exaggerating is ridiculous..
