CONROE POLICE BUST NETS OVER KILO OF COCAINE

On June 15, 2010, at approximately 8:35am, Narcotics Investigators of the Conroe Police Department and Willis Police Department arrested 26 year old Anthony Ramon Thomas for possession of over one kilo of cocaine. Mr. Thomas was arrested at the Shell Gas Station/Store located at 931 S. Frazier St. in Conroe as the result of a cooperative investigation between the two agencies. Mr. Thomas, who is reported to be a Gangster Disciples gang member, was apprehended carrying a duffle bag containing 2 lbs. 10 oz. of powdered cocaine. Mr. Thomas, who shows residence addresses in Beaumont, Texas and Lansing, Michigan, was also found to have an outstanding warrant from Cook County, Illinois for Probation Violation from an original charge of Possession of Marihuana (over 30 grams).

Mr. Thomas was subsequently jailed at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and his bond was set at $250,000 by Judge Cara Wood.
