CONSTABLE THANKS WALMART PORTER EMPLOYEES

Wednesday night while on routine patrol Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable Rowdy Hayden and a few of his deputies stopped by Porter Walmart. Inside employees were hard at work filling the empty shelves. Hayden addressed some of those employees thanking them for keeping the store stocked at night for the customer’s needs during the day as the COVID-19 continues. Captain Clendennen told the employees that citizens see the police uniform and know what they are about but they don’t see the behind the scenes on what it takes to keep food on the tables by the stockers, truck drivers and many other behind the scene. As they left out Hayden spotted several employees hard at work stacking boxes of bleach. As a kid, Hayden was a stocker at Holiday Foods. He decided to take a try at it again and assisted in the stocking. Normally Hayden starts each shift at the office with a shift meeting. With the COVID-19 they have taken to a parking lot which is close by so deputies can spread out and not sit enclosed in an inside environment. Last night with over a dozen deputies working they met at the Academy parking lot before starting routine patrols.
