CONSTABLES ARREST AN INTOXICATED SUSPECT WHO FIRED A SHOT GUN INSIDE A RESIDENCE

On January 19, 2020, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 23500 block of Duked
Run Drive in reference to a disturbance where a male suspect was intoxicated and carrying a bat around the
residence. As deputies approached the residence, they heard a male suspect yell that he had a gun and gunshot
quickly followed. Deputies made entry and safely detained the male suspect.
The suspect was identified as Mauro Robles, who admitted to discharging his shotgun inside the residence.
Further investigation revealed that three children, ages seven, twelve and fifteen were inside asleep during the
incident. Additionally, it was found that the shotgun round almost struck a victim who was sitting in the
living room.
Child Protective Services were contacted and advised the facts of this case. The children were released to a
family member.
“Mauro Robles were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Deadly Conduct and Child
Endangerment. His total bond was set at $1,100.00 our of County Court 3 and the 262nd District Court.”
