CONSTABLES ARREST SUSPECTS AFTER CHASING VICTIM AND ATTEMPTING TO ASSAULT HER WITH A BAT

On July 11, 2018 deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 19600 block of Firesign Drive in reference to a disturbance between the complainant and two suspects who refused to leave the location. Upon arriving, Constable Deputies quickly detained the two suspects who were identified as Whitney Burrage and David Johnson.

The complainant advised she was at a nearby gas station when Burrage and Johnson approached her and a verbal argument ensued. The complainant fled the location in her vehicle and both suspects chased her into her neighborhood. Once the complainant arrived home, she exited her vehicle and Burrage attempted to assault her with a bat.

“Whitney Burrag and Joshua Johnson were arrested and booked into the Harris County jail. Burrage was charged with Terroristic Threat with a bond set at $5,000.00 out of the 14th District Court. Johnson was charged with Criminal Trespass with a bond set at $1,000.00 out of the 15th District court.”
