CONSTABLES QUICK RESPONSE TIME YIELDS ARREST OF 2 MALES WHO STOLE MERCHANDISE FROM TARGET

On August 16, 2019, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the Target located at 6635 North Grand Parkway in reference to two shoplifters. Upon deputies arriving, store employees advised that a male suspect exited the business with a cart full of stolen merchandise valued at over $4,000.00. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle. Constable Deputies searched the area and located the vehicle nearby. A traffic stop was conducted and the occupants were detained and identified as Louis Stout and Anthony McGowan. Additional merchandise was located in the vehicle which was confirmed to be stolen from another Target located in Conroe, Texas. “Both were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Felony Theft. Louis Stout was also charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle. Louis Stout’s total bond was set at $6,500.00 out of the 337th District Court. Austin McGowan’s bond was set at $15,000.00 out of the 337th District Court.” – Constable Mark Herman
