On June 28, MCSO Deputy Campos responded to an accident in the intersection of Highway 105 East and FM 1485. While on scene, Deputy Campos was approached by a woman who claimed to be a witness to the accident. As she spoke, Deputy Campos could smell an odor of alcohol beverage on her breath. After an investigation, she was placed into custody for driving while intoxicated and agreed to provide a blood specimen. However, upon arriving at the hospital, the woman refused to provide a blood specimen. A warrant was issued and blood was drawn. The female was charged with driving while intoxicated with child under 15, because she had her two young children with her while driving. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Willis man busted for threatening to kill his own grandfather
On July 1, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Parsons responded to a disturbance call in the 15100 block of Arrowhead Loop East in Willis. Upon arrival, the deputy met with a Willis Police Officer who said when Willis officers arrived at the home, they found a suspect was holding a broken fluorescent tube in his hand.
After speaking with the complainant, who was the suspect’s grandfather, Deputy Parsons learned that the suspect had threatened to kill his grandfather with the fluorescent tube. The male was arrested for terroristic threat and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On July 2, MCSO Deputy Taylor was dispatched to the 16100 block of Plaster Circle, in reference to a possible wanted felon on location.
Upon arrival, he saw a man and woman in the front yard. The woman turned and quickly walked to the back of the trailer. Deputy Taylor talked with the man, who said the woman was his girlfriend and he didn’t know where she went. The man was then asked if she was in the home, and he said she was not. After getting consent to search the residence from the homeowner, the woman was found hiding in a closet. She was arrested for the felony bond revocation warrant, and he was arrested for hindering apprehension. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On 6/28/2016, Deputy Campos was dispatched to the 900 block of Oak Terrace Drive, in reference to a warrant service. Upon arrival, Deputy Campos met with the wanted male. The warrant was confirmed, the male was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On 6/28/2016, while on patrol, Deputy Taylor stopped a vehicle displaying dual registrations. Upon identifying the male driver, he was found to have active warrants out of Montgomery County. The warrants were confirmed, the male was arrested and taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
On 7/1/2016, Deputy Porter was dispatched to a welfare check in the area of Highway 105 East and Woodridge. Deputy Porter was told by dispatch that a male called 911 stating he was being chased by gang members and was running down the street to get away from them. The male was found hiding behind a concrete barrier. Deputy Porter made contact with the male who displayed signs of intoxication. The male was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On 7/2/2016, while on patrol, Deputy S. Martin observed a vehicle parked in a local store parking lot. Deputy Martin was familiar with the owner and knew that the son of the owner drove the vehicle. Deputy Martin knew there was an open warrant for the son. Deputy Martin entered the store to find the male playing on one of the gaming machines. The warrant was confirmed and the male was arrested. During a search of the vehicle, Deputy Martin found marijuana and methamphetamine. The male was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On 7/3/2016, Deputy Campos was dispatched to the 17200 block of Royal Coach, in reference to a disturbance. Deputy Campos made contact with three males in a vehicle. The driver said he had been in a fight with a neighbor. While speaking to him, Deputy Campos could smell alcohol on his breath. The driver had a wound on his ear but refused treatment from Emergency Medical Services. Deputy Campos was unable to make contact with the other male involved in the disturbance. The male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and the other two were arrested for public intoxication. The driver refused to give a blood sample a warrant was issued. All three males were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On 7/3/2016, Deputy Lamphier was dispatched to the 14700 block of Boyd Lane, in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival, Deputy Lamphier made contact with a male on location found to have an active warrant out of Montgomery County. The warrant was confirmed and male was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
