Just after 7 pm Friday night a crash was reported to 911 dispatchers. According to Sgt. Barnhill with DPS New Caney, a Honda motorcycle was westbound on FM 1485 and crossed the center line at Pickering. That motorcycle then struck a Toyota head-on ejecting the motorcycle driver. EMC Fire Department and MCHD responded to the scene but were unable to save the motorcyclist. Montgomery County Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace James Metts ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the victim to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy.

The driver of the motorcycle has been identified as 55-year-old Richard House of Conroe. The driver of the Toyota was not injured.

At first I thought this was the accident where the police officer was drunk and ran over a man. Then refused to take a field sobriety test or a breathalyzer. I thought to myself wow Montgomery County Police Reporter is starting to become fair and impartial news. Then I realized I was mistaken in both instances.

No, what you were really mistaken on was you thought here was the right place to post your two cents in. A man lost his life tragically causing irreparable damage to his family and friends as well as the family and friends of those in the other party. Although I didn’t know him personally a lot of my friends did and spoke very highly of him and his good deeds. So I believe I speak for others when I say you most certainly were mistaken on all accounts and that video you saw was shortly after a beloved man lost his life in an unfortunate accident. You really had no business posting any response unless a thoughtful condolence, not your political two cents and that sir is the truth YOU need. Good day.
