crash on south loop 336

Just before 8 p.m. a female driver was pulling out of the shopping center at South Loop 336 just west of Interstate 45 in her Honda Accord. She told officers she did not see the Dodge 2500 which was being test driven by a mechanic who had just worked on the truck. The truck slammed into the drivers side of the vehicle flipping it over and trapping the driver.

Conroe Firefighters worked almost twenty minutes to free the woman at which time MCHD transported her to Conroe Regional Hospital in stable condition.

Several bystanders stated they wish a light was put at the shopping center exit or the exit was completely closed. If at the stop sign you are unable to see the traffic approaching due to bushes obstructing the view. Many said even pulling past the stop sign it is hard to see due to the incline prior to approaching the entrance/exit of the shopping center.

That truck must have been flying.

I got there a moment after it happened – it was shocking to see. That truck must have been doing no less than 50 mph.

Look at the pictures, and the damages…She was flipped over on her roof and skid around.

    Thank God she is alive.

We need a light there just to slow down traffic….Let’s face it – we have some of the worse drivers in the world here…And the worse part is the worse ones think they are the best.

I would vote to test people every year. And I would put cameras all over the place. You’re out in public anyway…do the people that object to them think they are invisible?

Everybody loves coming here to rubberneck at the darker side of life and poke fun at the dregs slithering here among us saints except when it comes time to have to have THEIR toilet inspected before being flushed and then they scream Oh, the humanity! Privacy, please.

There’s a tattoo convention in town and I just got me a dandy for my forehead that that reads, “If you don’t want your poop being poked, don’t do it in public.” (I may regret this some day, ya think?)

    6. If she was in a flipped car, how coyld she have told the officer anything.
    7. If the speed was only 35 on that road at the site, why did the car flip, obviouly, the truck was going faster than that.

GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT AND USE YOUR BRAIN IF YOU HAVE ONE

She was eventually removed from the car and she was still alive and in stable condition. People can talk after going upside down. Crazy, huh?

Oh, and you’re right about LocalDrifter – He controls the universe. I’m hoping he’ll let me win the lottery soon so I can stop doing this…

    1. It was not coming out of the shopping center, rather, the road that is next to it, between the apartment and the shopping center.
    2. Nowadays, it is ppl like you who causes accidents and get away with it because the law is written a certain way.
    3. God has nothing to do with this.
    4. Perhaps you, Local Drifter is the one responsible for this.
    5. Everyone has a mom, I am sure her family is in a lot of trauma right now so if you don’t got nothing nice to say, don’t say nothing at all.

Many said even pulling past the stop sign it is hard to see due to the incline prior to approaching the entrance/exit of the shopping center.

Yet, I dare say, hundreds DO manage to exit and merge safely there daily without incident. Now that nobody is ever held accountable these days, everyone wants to be President.
    Pass the buck.
    Pass the blame.
    It”s all God’s fault.
