CRIME STOPPERS PAYS ON ARREST

San Jacinto County Crime Stopper program will now pay tipsters upon arrest. In the past when you called the crime stoppers tip line you did not collect your reward unless that person was indicted by a grand jury which could take several months.

Recently the board that oversees the program decided to change the guidelines to pay a tipster after a suspect has been arrested and charged with a crime reducing the wait time from months to weeks.
