A press conference was held Wednesday morning by District Attorney Brett Ligon to announce the investigation of the reported beating death of “Rock” a 90-pound Mastiff at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter has been closed. The off-duty deputy who was accused of striking the dog with a board has also been cleared. We are going to post the entire press conference shortly as soon as it can be loaded.
