There will be a benefit for the Mock Family, who lost two family members in a home explosion in Dobbin on June 11th. Baby Wyatt survived and is recovering from his injuries at home.
The investigation into the incident continues; MCFMO and Texas Railroad Commission Investigators are working to determine the exact sequence of events that led up to the explosion. Investigators believe that leaking LP gas accumulated under the home and was ignited by the kitchen stove. A Consolidated Telephone employee and a DPS Trooper rescued the victims from the rubble and moved them to safety. The two female occupants of the home passed away in the days following due to their injuries, but Baby Wyatt survived, in spite of being severely injured by the blast.
