Another dog has been discovered on an oilfield road near the intersection of Jefferson Chemical Road and FM 3083 late this afternoon. The dog, a female appears to be a Shepherd mix and is quite young was found by an oilfield worker. That worker had just entered the property when he saw a white trash bag with movement. Opening the bag he found the female dog covered in blood but eye blinking.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was notified and responded to the scene. They in turn called animal control who transported her to the Animal Emergency Clinic of Conroe,
Once there the dog was stabilized. According to the veterinarian she had lost a lot of blood. The single bullet passed through her neck and it is believed nicked the trachea.
The dog has about a 50% chance of survival.
