Teacher charged with sexual assault

CLEVELAND, TX – Police arrested a Cleveland Middle School teacher in Conroe on Wednesday on a warrant for sexual assault of a child.

Kimberly Grace Sinclair, 25, was taken into custody and transported to the Cleveland Police Department and later transferred to the Liberty County Jail in Liberty where her bond is set at $110,000.

According to a statement from Cleveland Police Chief Mark Bradshaw, on Oct. 12 his agency received information about Sinclair’s alleged admission of an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old student.

Sinclair agreed to go to the Cleveland Police Department the next day and make a voluntary statement, but failed to do so, Bradshaw stated.

On Oct. 15, a warrant was issued for Sinclair’s arrest on the second-degree felony charge of sexual assault of a child. That warrant was served on Wednesday.

Bradshaw said his agency received assistance from the US Marshal’s Office, Houston; Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force; and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT.
