Approximately 230pm last Thursday , Houston PD notified Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office District 3 deputies (East Montgomery County) that they were trying to catch up to two robbery suspects that were traveling north on Highway 59, passing Kingwood. Montgomery County Precinct 4 deputies staged along highway 59 and located the suspect vehicle as it exited Roman Forest Blvd. A traffic stop was conducted and two suspects were taken into custody. Inside the vehicle deputies found over a kilo of cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and a loaded pistol. The driver of the vehicle, Johnny Robinson from Louisiana freely admitted to deputies that he had recently lost a lot of money in the casinos in Louisiana and needed more money. He and the passenger, Jacque Lynn also from Louisiana, rented a car and traveled to an unknown address in Houston to “rob his drug dealer”. It was there that Johnny took money, cocaine, crack cocaine, tied the victim up and left the location. The unidentified victim untied himself and followed the two suspects north through Houston and called 911 saying he was robbed. Once Pct. 4 deputies got behind the suspect vehicle the victim disappeared. Since both Johnny and Jacque were now in Montgomery County, they were both arrested for the alleged Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance X2, both 1st degree felonies as well as Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, also a felony offense.
