A DPS CID Officer attempted to stop a car jacking tonight on North Vista and I-45 in North Harris County. Shots were fired and the DPS Agent was hit in the hand, the Agent was treated at the scene. One of the suspects wasn’t so lucky as he was shot and transported to Northwest Medical Center in unknown condition. At least 3 other suspects fled into apartment 100. Harris County Sheriff;s Office activated their SWAT Team but before they arrived the suspects exited the apartment and were taken into custody. Additional details are currently under investigation.
