DRIVER AND PASSENGER ARRESTED FOR EVADING AND FAILURE TO IDENTIFY

On July 12, 2018, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Special Operations Unit initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 17500 block of the North Freeway. The driver failed to stop leading deputies on a brief pursuit that ended near the 3300 block of the North Sam Houston Parkway East.

Constable Deputies detained and identified the driver as Jorge Garcia. The female passenger failed to identify herself to deputies but was eventually identified as Katherine Creppon. It was also learned that Creppon had multiple outstanding warrants out for her arrest.

“Jorge Garcia and Katherine Creppon were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Garcia was charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle and received a $5,000.00 bond out of the 248th District Court. Creppon was charged with Failure to Identify – Fugitive and received No Bond out of County Court 001.” –Constable Mark Herman
