Thursday night Montgomery County Precinct 4 Lt. Looza was traveling south on I-69 feeder when he spotted a maroon Ford Expedition all over the road. According to the deputy, the truck was eastbound on FM 1485 and turned south on the I-69 feeder. When he turned he ran over the curb. The driver then went across all 3 lanes striking the curb on each side as he did. The driver was stopped on suspicion of DWI. The truck owner was in the passenger seat and was not impaired. Nicandro Nambo, 32, who had no prior DWI convictions submitted to a breath test. The results were .364, more than 4 times over the legal .08 limit. He then volunteered a blood sample and was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
