Just after midnight a Honda Accord was southbound on Lockwood Drive near Collingsworth in east Houston when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle went over two curbs and slammed into a building which was recently left unoccupied. The vehicle then burst into flames .A wrecker driver was second on the scene.. The first to arrive he said pulled the man out and across the street. He was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. Houston firefighters stopped the blaze before it was able to do much damage to the building.
