DRUNK PICKS THE WRONG HOUSE TO WALK INTO

Early Saturday morning a Montgomery County Deputy had gotten up, taken his dog out and was sitting as his dining room table with his morning coffee when a male unknown to him walked through the front door of his home. The deputy immediately detained him as his wife called the Sheriff’s Office to respond. Deputies arrived and determined that the male, identified as Taylor Austin Phipps, 18,  of 52 Glade Bank in The Woodlands, was intoxicated and had crashed his car into the ditch in front of the deputies home. Phipps was arrested on public intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. As he was being booked in, it was determined that the Mississippi drivers license in his possession was fake. He was also charged with using an illegal license or certificate.
