At approximately noon TODAY (Tuesday, February 4), members of the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office will be joined multiple law enforcement agencies as they provide a vehicle escort for the body of fallen Deputy Richard Whitten.
Liberty County Deputy Whitten will be escorted from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences building at 1861 Old Spanish Trail to Neal Funeral Home at 200 South Washington Avenue, Cleveland, Texas.
The anticipated route will be northbound on the South Freeway (State Highway 288) to the Eastex Freeway (North U.S. Highway 59).
