The body of Sgt. Calvin Harrison was flown in on a Falcon jet own by Kalita Airways close to noon Thursday. Over 100 Patriot Guard members lined the ramp area with American flags as the jet came in and Harrison was taken by the Honor Guard to the waiting hearse.
As the hearse left Lone Star Airport almost fifty members of the 158th Aviation Regiment lined the road near the airport exit. Once outside the gate several people also paid respect to Harrison as he passed.
The procession escorted by Precinct 2 Constables, Conroe Police and the Patriot Guard rolled South to North Loop 336 then west on 336 to Frazier. Once at Frazier it moved south to SH105 and then back through downtown to second street and to the funeral home.
Harrison will be buried tomorrow in Coldspring.
Very few people took note today as the procession passed. Thursday morning a much smaller procession will leave the funeral home on Ave E and go East on 321. Please show your respect to this fallen soldier as he leaves Montgomery County enroute to Coldspring.
Once in Cleveland a full motorcade will leave the American Legion Hall east of town on 105 and head west to US 59 and then north to Shepherd.
Once in Shepherd it will pass all the schools as it continues west on SH150 past the courthouse square.
The funeral will begin at 11am
