At 9:15 a.m. Monday Conroe Police were dispatched to a major accident with entrapment at Interstate 45 southbound feeder at Creighton.

A Ford f-150 driven by Clarence Minyard, 52 was stopped in the outside lane for the red light at the intersection.

A Voyager mini van driven by Juana Barron, 41 was behind the Ford coming to a stop.

Another vehicle a Versa, driven by Joe Robert Bush, 83 slammed into the rear of the mini van which pushed it into the rear of the Ford.

Minyard had minor injuries and was treated and released. Barron who was driving the mini-van was transported to Memorial Hermann Woodlands in critical condition.

Bush who was critical but talking on the scene was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:08 a.m.

Judge Spikes ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport Bush to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy.
