Just after 6 am Monday morning, 36-year-old Blanca Olivia Torres of Dayton was traveling east on County Road 605 in a 2005 Honda Civic when her vehicle ran off the road at the intersection of County Road 605 and County Road 611. Torres was not wearing a seat belt and impacted the windshield. She was pronounced dead on the scene by Justice of the Peace Barry Graves.
The crash was investigated by Trooper Prantil who was assisted by Trooper Boykin and Willoughby. In addition Deputy McQueen and Koen of the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
The roadway which is just outside Dayton was experiencing heavy for Monday morning.
