FBI Releases Photos of Serial Bank Robber Targeting Suburban Area Banks

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs your help in identifying a serial bank robber who is suspected of robbing at least two banks located is suburban areas of Houston. The latest robbery happened at the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 10978 Grant Road, Houston, Texas, earlier today.

At approximately 12:57 p.m., the man entered the bank and handed a teller a note in which he threatened to have a gun. The tellers turned over some cash, and the robber fled the area on foot. No weapon was observed during the robbery. No one was physically hurt. The bank’s surveillance cameras captured several photographs of the robbery during the commission of the crime.

He’s described as a light skinned, older black male, approximately 6’ tall or taller, 200 pounds with a medium build. During both robberies, he carried a medium-sized black money bag with Velcro closures.

This robber is also suspected in the robbery of the Chase Bank located at 12350 FM1960, Houston, Texas, on March 8, 2010.
