Prayer warriors unite! This morning before 8 am Houston Police Sgt Joanna Green was riding her HD police motorcycle in full uniform on Hwy 71. Sgt Green was en route to the Police Memorial Services at the Capitol when she was struck from behind by a pickup truck near Ross Rd. A guardian angel was with this 28-year veteran as she went off the bike on the right side tumbling in the outside lane and the truck ran over the bike – totaling it. The truck driver was obviously distracted and never saw her. I had the pleasure of spending time with this amazing servant as she laid in the trauma room. As a rider, you know what she was worried about..” did they cut my boots off?” No, they saved ‘em.😊 It is truly a miracle that this spunky, spirited lady was not seriously injured or killed this morning. Please lift Sgt Green in prayer seeking a speedy and full recovery. #HPDmiracle
