FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR MONTGOMERY AND LIBERTY COUNTY

The National Weather Service in League City has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for…
eastern Montgomery County in southeast Texas…
northwestern Liberty County in southeast Texas…
Polk County in southeast Texas…
San Jacinto County in southeast Texas…
* until 130 PM CST
* at 1020 am CST… National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
that slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall were
located in the warned area. Rain rates of 1 to 3 inches an hour are
expected. 3 to 5 inches of rainfall have already fallen across the
warned area.
* Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause flash flooding to
occur. Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Cleveland… Livingston… Willis… Alabama-Coushatta reservation…
Corrigan… Cut and Shoot… Lake Livingston State Park… Panorama
Village… Patton Village… Porter heights… Roman Forest…
Shepherd… Splendora and Woodbranch.
