Just before 8 am a Conroe ISD School Bus with 34 students on board rear-ended a Dodge Durango which then caused a chain reaction involving two additional vehicles. The crash was on FM 2090 between the Caney Creek bridge and FM 1485. Caney Creek Fire Department along with MCHD responded to the scene. Only one child was transported as a precaution to Texas Children’s Hospital in The Woodlands. The students en route to Creighton Elementary School when the crash occurred. DPS worked the crash as FM 2090 was closed for almost an hour. After the students were checked by EMS another bus was brought in to transport the students to school.
