Good thing the mutt wasn’t lost in Cut-n-Shoot. Folk over there never do the right thing but keep found things to pass them off to their nieces. (Referencing the Lost iPhone story here)

The fine folks at the New Caney Fire Department suggested that I reach out to you in hopes that you could help spread the word about our missing Boxer. She escaped our yard on the 4th of July near 1485 and Kidd Cemetery Road. We’ve had her for 6 years, since she was a puppy, and the kids miss her terribly. Please spread the word, if you don’t mind. Thank you!

This dog is found. Thank you NCFD Chief Taylor! This is another example of the things (great and small) fire departments and firefighters do for the community every day and never get recognized.

Call Houston Boxer Rescue @ (832) 582-2166 or

    Lonestar Boxer Rescue @ (281) 944-5727

These non-profit organizations will take the boxer and place it in a foster home with other boxers until a home can be found for them. I got my boxer from Lonestar and they will even come to you to get the dog.

If you look at the comments on facebook, this dog has been identified as belonging to the neighbor of one of the commenters.
I hope the original poster reads the comments and does not take the dog to the pound.
