Fraud Investigation/Arrests

On Monday, July 11, 2016, at approximately 3:15 PM, a Deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit stopped a vehicle on a traffic stop on Interstate 45 near Shepard Hill Road, in Montgomery County, Texas.

During the traffic stop, the deputy identified a male driver as Cameron Deshaundrick Warren- Washington, (date of birth 08/22/1992), and the only passenger in the vehicle as Destiney Rachelle Sigler, (date of birth 01/27/1995). As the deputy spoke to the driver, he detected a strong distinct odor of marijuana coming from the inside of the vehicle. During an investigation and search of the vehicle, approximately one hundred credit cards belonging to different people were located in a backpack inside the vehicle. A credit card embossing machine to create credit cards was additionally located inside the vehicle. After the completion of an investigation at the scene, the driver and passenger were arrested and charged with fraudulent use or possession of identifying information.
