FUNERAL SERVICES FOR RETIRED CONROE POLICE OFFICER

Thomas Cooper Obituary

Thomas Loyd Cooper passed away June 16, 2014 at the age of 73 in Conroe, Texas. He was born August 27, 1940 in Houston, Texas to Sam and Grace Cooper. Thomas was a devoted member of the Lonestar Cowboy Church in Montgomery and a life time member of the MCFA. He served IAH as Police Lieutenant for 17 years and the Conroe Police Department for 24 years before retiring. Thomas is preceded in death by his loving wife, Jane Cooper, Parents, Sam and Grace Cooper and daughter, Lynda Bowlin. He is survived by daughters, Candice Ann Curlee and husband Tommy and Melissa Kay McNeill and husband Timothy, sisters, Betty Leobold, Joyce Ramirez, Barbara Alizadeh, brother, Sam Cooper Jr., grandchildren, Mark Curlee, Cristi Coffin, Kimberly Johnson, Patrick McNeill and Zachary McNeill, great-grandchildren, Caden Coffin, Cole Thornton and Matthew Curlee. Numerous other friends and relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Randy Weaver officiating, burial following in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home.
