GAME WARDEN ESCAPES INJURY

Just after 7 pm Sunday night, a Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden was checking the north side area of the San Jacinto River under US 59 in Humble. The Game Warden spotted a vehicle and as he approached the vehicle the vehicle attempted to flee down the narrow entrance to the river bank. The vehicle slammed into the 4-wheeler trailer the Game Warden was pulling. As the Game Warden got out of his vehicle the driver put his vehicle in reverse. The Game Warden who was exiting his vehicle jumped back into the driver’s seat as the fleeing vehicle slammed into the Game Wardens truck door peeling it toward the front of the truck.. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody. The female passenger was also arrested after drugs were found on her. The incident is being investigated by Texas Parks and Wildlife and DPS. Both male and female were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Arrested was Roy Leon Callison, 23, of Magnolia. He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on charges of Driving While Intoxicated, unlawful carry handgun license held, criminal mischief $2500 to $30,000. He is being held on $3600 bond. The female arrested with him is identified as Maria Julieta Thompson-Kronig, 35, of Kingwood, She is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $1500 bond and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a dangerous drug.
