Around noon, a gas leak was discovered at the Lake Conroe Plaza Shopping Center in the 19000 block of SH 105 West near Walden Road.
The center was closed immediately.
Center Point Energy arrived on-scene and workers have now shut off the leaking line. As a result, there is no gas service for the shopping center. Center Point will have to make repairs before gas can be restored to the center.

Scott Engle and Jamie Nash are Montgomery County residents and veteran law enforcement / breaking news reporters, who met covering a law enforcement story and have covered multiple counties, with Scott as a television videographer for multiple local stations and national networks, and Jamie as newspaper / magazine / online reporter.
