At 144am Champions Fire Department responded to a house fire at 5302 Havenwoods in the Greenwood Forest Subdivision. They arrived with heavy fire from the garage and the second floor above the garage. The fire quickly spread throughout the remainder of the two story home. Klein, Cypress Creek, Spring, Ponderosa and Northwest Fire Departments assisted in fighting the blaze. The Harris County Fire Marshal”s Office will be investigating the cause of the blaze. The home owners were able to escape the blaze. There were no injuries.
